Sept.& Oct. fishing has been pretty good. There's tons of fish around, but being there at the right time to catch the bite is the quest. AJ's, Albacore, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, have all been biting, but at different times. The Tilefish bite has also been good, when they are chewing. The Rockfish bite has been on the slow side. Sound water is still warm with not much tide. If the cold weather doesn't show up soon, it will be another long boat ride winter. My yearly Ohio crew went Sunday with a great catch of Tilefish & King Mackerel.
