Took a trip up to Maine to visit the family over Labor Day. I logged a few hours fly fishing the Penobscot River with my brother and cousin, and also did some trolling in Pemadumcook Lake with my Dad. (This is in the Millinocket area for the handful of Mainers on this board)
Fly fishing was slow, it's a little late in the year for trout and Landlocked Salmon for those parts. I did manage to catch a few salmon and my brother caught a few small trout.
Trolling produced a few decent sized salmon and a Monster white perch! My father fishes exclusively for salmon, so he didn't get very excited about the perch. (His attitude is that they eat all of "his" baby salmon)

We kept the perch and fried him up, delicious.
Attached is a brook trout caught fly fishing, the white perch, and a Landlocked salmon caught trolling.
