Hi folks. I wanted to let you all know about some exciting news at the Durham home. I resigned my position with my employer effective 12/31/06 and have started my own company and my wife is so excited.
She really is!
I am a film/video producer by profession with 28 years of experience in 22 countries. I owned my own production company from 1995-2002 then sold it and took a position with the company that purchased it. We decided this fall to make a change and try to combine fishing and film production a bit. So this month I incorporated
Credence Pictures Inc. and in 2007 I'll be working and building two companies at the same time.
Credence Pictures Inc. will focus primarily on non-profit and faith-based video and film productions and possibly some small corporate and commercial projects. This will be our primary source of family income as in times past. With
North Carolina Angler, Inc. I will continue to build the features and content of our online NC angler community and we'll be building the eStore at the same time as a way to fund that development. BTW if you've been considering a
Captains Club or
NC Angler Sponsor Membership or would like to purchase an ad block on the site this would be a great time to do it!
We are planning to produce some instructional fishing DVD's in 2007 and start compiling footage for a pilot TV show, possibly called "
The North Carolina Angler". I welcome any input on shows you'd like to see produced and you can use this thread to share those ideas.
