Trent River, North East Cape Fear, Cape Fear, Neuse. All within reasonable distance of J-ville. A few of the ponds on mainside are supposedly stocked with Channels, never fished them, but I would be cautious of eating them. No minnow fishing on Base either. I have seen some four and five pound channels come out of the little pond next to the stop light at the flight line. Catch and release only. Guys fishing on lunch.
