 New to area, specs and reds??
I've been living here for about a year now living in fayetteville and was hoping someone could point me into the right direction for some good spots for some spec and red action. I have a 16 foot skiff with a 40 merc, tried a few spots in willmington and surf city with out much luck durring the summer. I was hoping to get out some this winter but need some imput for finding some fish. I'm from Louisiana where the specs and reds pract. fall out of the sky on to my hook. I'm accustomed to using DOA's and soft plastics of sorts. Are the specs in deep channels this time of year here as they would be in louisiana, how about the reds, are they in this close this time of year? Any help would be much appriciated. Plenty of room on my boat for any takers, would love to learn the water better here.
