 Opening Day report
Sorry for the late report.
Despite snow, bitter cold and icing poles, my brother dad and I caught two trout apiece Saturday.
Got on the stream before six (legal fishing time) but it was dark, cold and snowing.
We caught two trout in the morning right off but that was it.
So we left and went back out much later in the afternoon.
It was now cold, bright and sunny.
Caught four trout.
I caught a 13 inch rainbow trout on a cricket.
Overall we caught 4 brook, 1 brown and 1 rainbow.
My rainbow was the day's biggest.
Tonight they will be dinner. |
