 Southwest Creek, New River 21-22 Apr 07
Howdy All,
Noticed alot of boats out on the Southwest Creek on New River this weekend. Was wondering if anyone caught anything. It was slow going for us, but we were mainly exploring for fishing holes. We were fishing for Spec's and Red's but oddly enough the only fish we landed in the boat was a 15 inch 2-3 lb large mouth bass. Water temp rose this weekend. On saturday it was in the low 60's. On Sunday it went up to 69-71.
Anyone have any good suggestions for lures to use on specs? Not sure if the ones that I have been using are worth a dang.
