Belews Lake On Friday the 19th My wife n I fished Belews at night. The water was like bath water somewhere around 86 As the night went on the moon was full and bright and made for tough fishin but I finally had some luck in the backs of coves anywhere there was a creek or steady oxygen supply I caught some nice bass on a excalliber popper. I listened for any frog activity and when I found them I found bass, and they were bustin right out of the water to hit that popper. Real slow presentation around 5 second jerks to lettin it sit for 10 or so. That seemed to work pretty good. All in all it was a very peaceful and relaxin night on the Belews. Aaron |
