Left the dock in Morehead @ 6:00am this morning & headed offshore. Got as far as NW Places and decided we'd been beaten enough so throttled back & bottom fished for black sea bass. Seas were running 3-5, with numerous 6+ thrown in. We got bumped around pretty good until about noon then it started to lay down. Managed to put 8 keepers in the box. Lots of little ones drive us nuts, but hey, at least we were out fishing
. Ride in was much better. Our kidneys thanked us.....
