 surf and pier Oregon Inlet to Hatteras Inlet
Fishing has been fair both surf and pier. Northern beaches are probably the best bet with blues making up the bulk of the catch as you go further south. Northern beaches ar getting some trout mixed in with their spots and blues. Middle beaches are mostly spot and bluefish with a few trout, pompano and croakers scattered amongst the catch. From cape point south the majority of the catch is bluefish with a few spots and ocasional drum. Look for fishing to pick up as the wind changes and the water clears. |
