 Why a kayak over a canoe?
Please forgive if this is a politically-incorrect question -- but why is a kayak a better paddle-powered fishing platform than a classic open-deck canoe? It seems the canoe would have lots more room for rod holders, fish finders, nets, partners, coolers... trolling motor if you're into that kinda thing....
