I'd like at some point to start a forum on our site that educates kids on being responsible stewards of the natural resources God has blessed us with and how we can enjoy fishing and hunting and do so responsibly. I am reading the book
"The Old Man and the Boy" and it illustrates beautifully the respect for nature that I'm sure most of us would want passed on to our children.
Do any of you folks have suggestions for a good way to do this? Would some of you older anglers be willing to share some words of wisdom and stories of insight with a younger generation? I look forward to your response.
On a personal note....I think we must provide an alternative to our kids to the non-sense that some fringe wackos are inundating our kids with (i.e. the PETA folks:
