 Visiting Oriental Sept 8
I'm gonna be visiting Oriental with my wife and son on Sept 8. We'll have Saturday mid-afternoon and evening to sightsee (and maybe see some finned, scaly sights). What are some of the things we should make a point of seeing -- and avoiding, if there is such a thing...
We'll be handing out Gatorade at the MS-150 bikeathon -- if anyone is interested in sitting still, hanging out, and handing out snacks to a bunch of athletic lunatics riding enormous distances on their bikes, let me know and I'll be happy to get you plugged in. The route is a figure-eight out of New Bern - northward and eastward on Saturday, northward and westward on Sunday, so all of the rest stops are more or less between New Bern and Washington.
