Default Bream Bite is On! Wilson, NC

I talked to an angler that had a great day of bream fishing. He had 41 quality bream, including a specimen that was at least 2.5 lb. He was tight lipped about where he was catching these fish, but did tell me he used worms and fished 1.5-2 ft of water.

I had some luck a couple of days later, fished about the same depth, but used crickets. Caught some nice ones, not shellcrackers, but bluegills. A tube jig also works great. I've found these little tube are versitile and will catch, catfish, crappie, bass, white perch, and sunfish.

This is my first time posting. These fish in the photos were caught yesterday 051208 around 5:30 p.m. Wind was blowing hard.
