I'd like to very much thank everyone for their prayers on my behalf for my heart valve surgery.
From all accounts, I breezed through the surgery and am doing the same on the recovery. I've had virtually no pain, which is very unusual, and 12 days after surgery, I'm already walking 5 miles a day (not at one time). I've still got a ways to go, and won't be able to cast a line or work on a deer stand for another 3-4 weeks, but I'm not complaining. Thanks to the Good Lord, my future is looking good.
