Default Installed a new prop..

Did this a few weeks ago and forgot to post. I needed a new prop on the old "Rude so I started reading up on the subject to see if I could take advantage of the swap to improve something. My prop was a 13.75x15 and it had been reshaped once so I'm sure it was even less than that. My old trihull would jump right up on plane with a full load but had poor top-end and burns gas like a new 250..LOL
I decided to step up to a 13.75x17. I couldnt go up on diameter because it would hit the housing (skeg) but I could change the "pitch" which effects the amount of travel per revolution. This seemingly subtle change made a world of difference! Boat still planes good loaded but I picked up 4mph@WOT@4500rpm according to my GPS handheld. The mileage is noticably better as well... So it was a well spent $90 (thanks Billy's Marine in Greenville for the great price!)
Now I want to convert my lower unit to synthetic oil and start running synthetic 2 stroke oil, get a good coat of wax on the hull underneath and see how that does..
