Beaufort Marsh 6/25 and 6/27

Jeff - Paddled from W Bft boat ramp all the way through the causeway marsh and to the far side of the haystacks. Threw out gulp under popping cork, gulp slow bounced off the bottom, mirrolure and curly tail jig... all to no avail. Today just was not my day... fished hard in some spots I was SURE were going to hold drum, with nothing doing.

Hopefully you will have more luck. I might slip out for a few hours tomorrow but I am going to fish live bait and try a different spot.

I have to work this weekend, but if I didn't, I would not be going anywhere near the water... too many people for me...
