Oh I forgot. When you're going up Route 12 past Southern Shores into Duck there's a tackle store on your left right in Duck. Can't miss it. They'll put you onto the best lures and bait. Flounder's probably your best bet to target. Jig heads with a strip of squid or a Gulp Swimmin' Mullet on them work just fine.

Also, do NOT exceed the posted speed limit on Hwy. 12. Not even by 5 mph. They WILL be out there watching.
