Default Report From South Hwy 12

Launched Yak in ditch along Hwy 12 this am. A speckled trout kinda morning. Sorry my pics of trout did not turn out-- caught six keepers. If in doubt I will send pics of them in the skillet tonight or a pic of my belly after I am stuffed. The pic of the drum didn't turn out good either. He was too big to fit in the frame at my arms length. I've found that good fishermen are bad cameramen.

This is extremely hard work for an old man, but somebody has to do it. Furthermore, I didn't even fall into the muck getting in and out of my yak today. I feel this is a necessary chore to stay in good standing with the younger kayak fellows on NCangler.
