 Re: Yak Newbie I have a Manta 14 and it does great in the skinny water. Get a good pair of polorized sun glasses!!! If you go in the shallows to paddle around ... go easy, there are LARGE REDS in there. Look for swirls boils and tails and fins!!! If you are not fly fishing I do recommend Red Fish magic and Gulp. Don't forget a popping cork, its great!!!
