 CBBT last Friday
Went to the 1st island casting for stripers. 2'-3' swells. took it easy going out and tied up to the pilings. Caught about 15-20 stripers, largest being 33 inches. Kept 3 fish, (1 per person limit now), left about 9 p.m. as the wind was picking up. Larger fish are around 3rd island and the high rise. Hoping to go Thurs night. Maybe they will get down to NC waters this year.
Anyone brave enough to fish this weekend is a bad dude. 6-8' waves at the CBBT. |
