Found some time to slip down to Ft. Fisher today. TA was right- no wind- beautiful day. But I didn't have as much luck finding the fish. Hooked up with a nice red late in the afternoon. He took me for a ride. As I was reaching my thumb in his mouth, he shook off. So, other than a beautiful day on the water and a December sunburn, I got nothing to show, except a wish for a net from Santa.
