Zach's birthday party.

My son Zachary is turning 11 on Tuesday and for his birthday party he wanted to have a "fishing party". We've done this a couple times before. We had about 45 people come to a camp that is affiliated with our family around Haw River. After hot dogs, cake, and gifts we started the "fishing tournament". It was great. 15 people (mostly kids under 7 yrs old with help from there parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents, and friends) caught about 50 fish. I couldn't believe how many crappie we caught. The water was very muddy so we weren't expecting much at all. Probably 1/2 of the fish caught were crappie, the rest bream, except for one catfish. Most of the crappie were about 8", but there were a couple 10"-11" fish caught. All fish were caught on redworms too. Lots of smiles and fun had by all.
