Okay fly guys I'm offering a $100 gift certificate to the Fly Fishing store of your choice to the best fly tie as determined by our membership between now and June 1st, 2006. In order to be eligible for the contest you must be a registered member, you must be the person that tied the fly and you must post your Fly Tie in our Fly Ties database. The top 10 entries will be entered into a poll for our membership to decide who the $100 winner will be.
I want to kick start our "Fly Ties" database online (thanks Forrest for getting it going already!) so I'm offering an incentive to you guys to "tie one on"...online that is. Enter and upload as many tie patterns as you like but be sure to also enter as much information in the Fly Ties data fields as you can. And I'll see if I can bump up the contest with some more prizes in the meantime. If you have ideas or suggestions for developing our database of fly tying information please let me know.
