Default Topsail Feb 8th

Headed down to Topsail this past Friday for some much needed salt air in the lungs. Arrived about 7ish that evening and settled down at the house and checked out the ICW and listende to the waves crashing across the road. Music to my ears.

Took a nice look at the surf Saturday morning, looked great, only saw a couple of cars/trucks fishing down past Jolly Roger area. Went over to Serenity Point and tried my luck. About a dozen fishermen/women there trying there luck. Took my nephew and let him try some fishing, it usuall bores him. One day I'll get him on some fish where it won't be boring. Maybe this summer when the reds are burning it up.

I didn't get a bump for the couple of hours I was there, but enjoyed being outside in the sun. Did manage to see this gentleman catch a double. He had a couple black drum and spadefish not big but real thick.
