 March/April
The striper bite at New Bern has remained good and I'm averaging 10 to 15 stripers and a few shad on a half day. I am also catching numerous specks in the creeks near Oriental most of them small but we're able to put fish in the box. I also landed a 9 pound striper with them this Friday. I will offer out my 1/2 day special rate of $200 to anyone who fishes with me in March. My openings are afternoon of 3/22 in Oriental, 3/24, 25, 26, 28 and 31.
My April fishing for specks, puppy drum and flounder looks very promising and I'm currently open 4/2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, 25, 26, 27 and 29.
