Late with this one. Sorry. Carp ganging up for spawn on Mt. Island LAST weekend. Went for our usual bass fish and a carp adventure broke out. Were some buffalo around but all caught were grass carp. God bless them for doing such a good job keeping the "seaweed" down. Poor mans redfish put up a mean fight and if you are in a kayak you get a complimentary bath with each fish.
Oddly enough we were catching them on crappie nibbles. Go figure. All released, lot of fun.
