 trout rising
There's a hatch happenin. Spring is finally here and today, I witnessed many trout rising to very tiny midges on the Elk River in Banner Elk NC. I'd say #22 or #24 would do the trick. It should be a fantastic opening weekend...if you get up early. Late sleepers will be fishing someone elses backwash.
