The fishing is warming up on Emerald Isle. Good Catches of Mullet on the pier, today and some blowfish. The Skates, Rays, and sharks were out in full force as well. I was encouraged by the large schools of Menhaden around and near the pier. The water was a little dirty close to shore but overall not to bad. The water was very calm except for the strong wind. It's a little early but I'm think some great fishing is just aroung the corner.
