Default Pier Confusion

After 4 years of researching the history of NC piers I thought I had it all straight after filling in some pieces late last year. Then last night a friend that I was exchanging emails with said he caught his first fish on Central Pier at Carolina Beach. I corrected him and said Center Pier and he said no Center pier was north of the North End Pier (Carolina Beach Pier) he said Central pier.

So my reserach has found the following mentions of piers at Carolina/Kure Beach locations.

North End Pier - Carolina Beach Pier

Center Pier (I still think I am right) - I think this was also called Winner Pier because it was built by a guy named Winner

Obviously Kure Beach which is an entire subject in itself.

So then where was the Fisherman's Steel Pier?

Was there a Central Pier?

Also I have a note that there was a Kate's Pier there too, not sure if soundside or another name for one of the other piers.

Can anyone set me straight?
