Smile Trip #2 on the Reel Salty

We headed out of Lockwood Folly Saturday morning around 7 and headed for AR 420. We fished there for a little while and caught a few small fish. The sea was calm so we decided to head on out and see what we could find. We fished the Lighthouse rocks for a while and still found small fish. Once again we pulled 'em in and headed for 10 mile rock. The water there is a little deeper and the fish are a little bigger. We wound up with 2 keeper sea bass, several pig fish, and many fish too small to keep. My dad actually caught 2 small grouper which was a surprise to see that close in. Around 2:30 we decided to head for thi hill so we could get everything and everyone cleaned up and hit the Seafood Barn at Holden Beach for supper.
It was beautiful day on the sea with my dad and two good friends. The only bad part of the trip was stopping at the gas pump and filling the boat back up but even that was made bearable by of the rest of the day.
