Default Lake Hickory / Lookout Shoals

We arrived at Lake Hickory this morning at sunrise, and I captured a good picture at the landing.

Fishing was really slow here. The water at Hickory is probably down 3 -4 feet on the bank at least. Hardly no good cover to throw at, and we broke out finesse worms, spinnerbaits but the only two fish caught were by my Dad. Probably a 3-4 pounder and a 2-3 pound bass.

We hit Lookout Shoals about lunch time to see if it would be any better, but no luck at all here. There aren't that many coves and too breezy here to worm fish, spinners not hitting, so we packed it in early.
