Caught this little beauty on Kerr at County Line Park this evening. Hooked one about half again as big, but he threw the hook. Boy was Mrs. Muddy mad! She hates it when I catch a bigger fish than she does! To top it off, I was fishing for crappie with a jig. Man was the water ever clear! I could see my anchor on bottem at 10-12 ft!. Watched several fish swim by too.
Fished Nutbush yesterday morning. Fisherjon was there too. Neither of us had much luck. One 9" crappie I threw back and one small white perch I ended up using as cut bait. FJ was able to land a decent bass. I left about 12:00 and FJ fished on.
No jokes about the white legs please.
