Virginia Hunting & Fishing Licenses Smith River Trout Unlimited will host a Fish The Smith River & Cookout on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Meet at the Mirror Factory at 8:30am for fishing and at the foot of Philpott Dam at 3:30pm for cookout. SRTU members will act as guides for newcomers who would like to learn more about the Smith River fishery. This event is open to all. We have collected a lot of fly fishing related items, to include an Orvis donated fly rod, all of which will be raffled off at the cookout - So bring a few dollars to purchase raffle tickets. We should have enough items that no one will go home empty handed.
