Until recently, I never knew that this group exsisted. From an article in this month's North Carolina Sportsman magazine they have formed a North Carolina Chapter of the RFA. Apparently they have not wasted any time in letting the DMF know just where they stand. The magazine reports , that in a letter to Dr. Louis Daniels director of the North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries the NC Chapter of the RFA has called for the complete removal of mobile and fixed net fishing gear from all bays, estuaries, and creeks of the state's inside coastal waters.
