Father and son team!! Just found this site last night and it looks like what i have been looking for.18 months ago I did not own a rod or reel now I have 3 surf combos,4 pier combos,5 trout/flounder/drum combos,5 crappie combos,3 full tackle boxes,1 soft bag full of gulp,DOA,grubs, fin-s soft baits and a JV-17 Carolina Skiff w/50HP Evinrude E-tec.So i guess you could say i jumped in head first.I discovered while on vacation in September 2006 that fishing was something that my wife,my son and myself enjoyed a great deal and we could do it together. The excitement in my wifes and sons eyes each time they caught a fish just trilled me.We started fishing all of the nc coast piers following that vacation. We settled on the Nags Head Pier after fishing from the Avalon to Springmaid in South Myrtle Beach. There just semed to be something always biting there if you fished hard and tryed different baits. This spring i wanted to crappie fish but did not have anywhere to go where you could fish from the shore line. This is where the boat came into play.I wanted a boat that i could use on the local lakes, rivers, and take to tidal creeks down east. You will see me on here alot!!!! |
