Default Redfish Everywhere!!!

Got home from work at 6am on Friday decided to check the weather had planned to fish Sunday, but with the chance of rain and increasing wind decided to go ahead and fish Friday morning then come home and sleep. Left Trails End about 8am and paddledaround a while looking for tailing redfish in the Masonboro Sound marsh. Went up one creek and saw what I thought was large mullet, they were making small boils on the surface.Decided I would cast to make sure, hooked a 14" flounder and brought it all the way to the kayak before it came off. After a few more cast and no hits decided to move. On the way out of creek I saw shrimp jumping everywhere and bigger boils, so I stopped right at the mouth. The water was still dropping and very muddy tried to see if I could catch what was chasing the shrimp. Put on a Gulp Shrimp Molting on a 1/8 oz jig head and began to cast about the third cast it got slammed a redfish about 20". Then it was on, the water was falling and the redfish were everwhere around me boiling the surface. They were chasing shrimp in as little as 4" of water charging up on to the mud after food. Ended up catching 5 more in about 1 1/2 hours and missing alot more. I had a good/bad problem they were eating the Gulp all the way to their crushers, decided to keep one 21" that was baddly hooked. All the fish were slot limit fish 19-26", and the 26" fish gave me a ride in the yak on my 10lb test ML spinning rod it made me do circles in the shallow creek. There were no fish tailing that I saw but I found something better. Had to leave about noon to get some sleep before work Friday night, but a great day 6 redfish, one lost flounder, and got rid of that dang skunk in my yak. No pictures I forgot my camera left it on my pier cart, wish I could make it today to the Pier Event but my son has a party to go to at noon maybe next time.
