Got on some catfish, or I should say the boy did...
Ramps were slap full today and big fishin tourny was on this weekend as well.
Reports of some crappy being caught back in drop offs around Beaver Creek area, and for us, we fished in some deep coves with grass along the banks and got lucky with a few nice catfish.
Using minnows on crappy hooks, some carolina rig'd with a medium split shot and other rods with bobbers 2-3 ft above nose hooked shiners.
Beautiful day on the water and fun for dad and boy.
