Hey guys,
Wanted some feedback from any of you that may own a smaller kayak. Never owned one before, but I think I am going to purchase one. I don't want to get a mount put on my car (rack) but think I'm just going to throw it in the back of my dads truck and take it whenever I want to go fishing. How easy would it be to strap down? At 10', I think that it would be ok to leave the gate on the truck up and strap it down face down so it's pretty aerodynamic. It can't go over 55 anyways so I don't think we will have an issue flying out of the truck
. I was really looking to get in a Malibu Mini X (9'3"), but get outdoors doesn't carry the Malibu brand. What do you guys think? I'm 5'10 195-200lbs, the tarpon 100 looks like it won't have a problem holding me.
