A buddy of mine and I walked the Nuese this afternoon. We started at the boat ramp on 581 in Goldsboro and walked downstream about a mile and did pretty good. Between the two of us we caught about 8 bass and 1 good sized bowfin. Most of the bass were small 8 to 9 inches but on our way back up river my buddy hooked on to a nice one ( 4 3/8 lb).
