Hello all,
A quick background and hello...
I used to live around the Charlotte area, and have done mostly pond fishing from GA up. Mostly SMB, LMB, crappie and blue gil...
I've been pulling the wife and kid (soon to be 2) around the country with me through schooling, training, working and the likes... but we're settled in Cherry Point for a while. While the fam. will be here for a longer than (recently) usual time, I'll be deploying for 12 months come Jan. Now that I'm out here for the summer I'm going to have to get some good fishing stories for deployment. the old blue gil the size of my van just doesn't cut it out here, when i hear of blue fin the size of busses.
i found this forum on google, trying to find a couple local spots. i noticed right away the friendly advice, good tips, and just the general conduct one notices from avid sportsman. what can i say... i was drawn in... now I've dropped a few lines on the computer, it's time to drop a few lines in the water.
