I'd like to thank everyone for coming out Saturday and participating. I can't tell you how much I hated what the weather did but I'm glad everyone still had a good time. Sorry to anyone who may have heard me lose my cool a few times.
I think there were a lot more fish caught this year. Keep those pictures coming.
One of the things that stands out to me (and speaks a lot about the kayak community) was how everyone who had already won something volunteered to give up winning another raffle so that everyone had a chance to go home with gear.
I also want to thank all the sponsors, especially NCAngler for helping get the word out and doing such a good job with supporting kayak anglers.
Next year will be Meet and Greet 3, "The Triple Threat"
I'm taking a break from any planning right now and let some of the stress go. As soon as I begin I'll let everyone know.
It was nice to meet everyone I had not paddled with before. I look forward to seeing you on the water again soon.
