 New to the site and looking for help!
Hello all. I just joined the site today and I was wondering if anybody had any tips as far as locations are concerned where I can take my 10 year old fishing. We went out to Hanging Rock yesterday morning and were very disappointed. We left there and went to a place called C.G. Hill memorial park and had some better luck (Catfishing was great there).
I am originally from the Northern Virginia area and I am not too familiar with the fishing scene in NC. We live in King (Stokes Co) and I was hoping you guys could point us in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to find some places close to us so we don't have to travel too far. I looked at some locations online but most of them seemed pretty far away from us.
I found a couple of places and I was wondering if they are even worth my time or if they are overfished? Kernersville Lake and Winston Pond. Also, if anyone knows what kind of fish are at these two locations that would be great too?
