Just got back from the redmon dam section of the french broad and I am sporting some new "jewelry" went to unhook a small bass and he started to shake his head while I had him lipped and he wound up putting the front hooks of a rapala countdown through my finger. tried to pull it back through, and the fishing line trick, but nothing worked, so I had to drive home with this 5 inch long lure attached to me. had a couple of stares, but no laughs when I stopped for gas. I may start mashing the barbs down on my lures like I do my flies.
