check those spare tire lug bolts that hold it to the trailer. i had my spare come loose and go under the boat long story made short-with pictures- i about wrecked my truck trying to get it stopped . i did not know what the heck happened.. it left scuff marks on the hull. knocked a gash in both the axle and rear cross member BENT the rim into an unusable state..tore the carpet loose from the bunk..when the boat landed side ways at about 60mph it blow the driver side turn signal bulb..

all because the spare tire mount has 2 bolts on it both vibrated loose and are gone..
