If you are fishing from the Pier, they have a blanket license. If you are in the sruf or any other coastal waters you will need a saltwater license.

Right now drum, flounder, blues, Spanish Mackerel and pompano are being caught but the bite is a bit spotty.

hey thanks alot for info i have seen some of your catchs on the site nice my wife and i are going a 2nd week of aug if all works out she is hoping to catch something bigger she use to fish in sc and cought sharks from surf fishing some day i sure would like to chater a boat and go for something big well again thank you for your help and good luck out there
