 this is what I was looking for!
I grew up in rural South Carolina and had abundant opportunities to fish in small lakes and private ponds in my home county. After college and graduate school I moved to Huntersville, NC with no knowledge of the local fishing scene. I was thinking to myself, there has to be a web resource that can let me know about local spots for bank fishing (wife says no boat until my daughter gets older and leaves daycare). I was happy to find this site after some google searching that this site was there all along. If any one has any private pond or water shed access areas in the Charlotte/Concord/Mooresville area please let me know. I enjoy striper, largemouth, bream, crappie, cats, and any thing else I can catch.
