Default super glue on knot...

when joining my 100lb mono shock leader to my main line which is 100lb braided power pro, i use an albright knot. ive heard about people using super glue joining lines. my question is, does the super glue have any kind of chemicals that can break down the composition of the braid and actually weaken the knot possibly? i use it on my fly line to mono leader but they arent braid...
