  1. Day 2: Oriental Red Drum Fishing trip

    It was a little slower today than last and the wind was up a good bit more but still a beautiful afternoon on the water. Mike had the first old Red Drum to the boat around 5:15 and I followed suite about 6:30, with a skate in between. I love these fish.

    Topsail Angler and I had the opportunity to do some Old Red Drum fishing near Oriental, NC yesterday. We setup about 3PM and fished till 8. Between 6-7PM we had three nice fish at the boat.

  4. Bass fishing 8-26-10

    I got out for first light the other morning. I left my house around 530 and after a few stops (wal mart for a new digital scale, a replacement zara spook i lost the other day and bug spray), I got my first cast in the drink around 715.
