Me and my fishing buddy ( Bill ) left early friday morning for the Chesapeak bay bridge tunnel pier. The pier is on the 1st man made island app 3 to 4 miles out from the south end of the bridge. We arrived at the pier around 12:30pm.
My 1st cast w/a 3/8 lead head & a 4in Gulp shrimp yielded a 14in blue fish and that was the beginning of a good two day trip. We didn't keep up with the # of crokers but we cought 8 flounder that were just under the 19in minimum length. ( fun to catch but had to release them ). We cought one that was exactly 19in and one that was 5 & 1/4lbs. We also cought one keeper gray trout and a couple of throw back gray trout.
The 19in flounder was cought on the 3/8oz jig w/the 4in gulp shrimp ( new penny ). The rest of the flounder including the 5 & 1/4lb one was cought on cut mullet. The crokers & trout were cought on a two hook bottom rig with fresh shrimp

All in all, a good trip to the bay.

Oh ! I forgot to add the two red fish. One keeper at 19in and one thro back at 16in. Both were cought on cut mullet.
